JOSAR is a Joshua Tree National Park SAR Team comprised almost entirely of volunteers.
We are one of the only National Park SAR teams that is supervised by the National Park, but run by volunteers.
Our commitment to excellence is unsurpassed. To provide this level of service requires constant training, and an
extraordinary commitment by our select volunteers. The efforts of these dedicated JOSAR volunteers has resulted in many lifesaving rescues.
